How did the book make you feel while reading it?
I felt extremely connected to the characters — like we were becoming friends. I learned to anticipate what they would do next, not because the plot was predictable, but because the character development was so strong and intuitive. The writing was beautiful and thoughtful. It read more like art than a typical thriller.

Was the pacing (slow, fast, steady) a good fit for the story?
The pacing was slower compared to a typical thriller, but it felt right for this story. It allowed for more emotional depth without ever feeling boring.

What was your favorite aspect: the writing, the characters, or the setting?
Honestly, it was the plot. I read a lot of thrillers, and so many follow the same structure — but this one was different. It was creative, beautiful, and unpredictable while still making perfect sense.

Who is this book for?
This is a book for adults, especially strong readers who enjoy layered storytelling and character-driven plots. It’s not a fast, surface-level thriller — it’s deeper and more rewarding if you take your time with it.

What other books did it remind you of?
The pacing and character development reminded me of "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin. Both books take their time building the world and the relationships, making every emotional beat land harder.

Would you read more from this author based on this book?
Absolutely — I’ve already started.
